Nano Hone's original diamond plates are replaceable on our Backing Plate. The Surf Stone is the fast and efficient way to flatten any surface softer than diamonds (please note! our diamond resins are much softer than other brands). Rapidly achieve a consistent uniform scratch pattern with our surf pattern. We have recently (9/2020) updated our surf pattern based on user feedback. We have closed the spacing between the waves precisely to maximize cutting speed and reduce scatching. We have also left a small space at either end of the plate to help maintain tool angle as the tool goes off the end of the plate.
